True North's programing is built around interest groups that our young people, or fellows, self select into. These diverse affinity tracts allow a wide range of people to find their peers even within a broad organization. While the tracts are designed to help our fellows connect with people that share their interests, have no fear there is not a limit to how many of the tracts you can join!

THE HUB
The Hub is a physical clubhouse run and staffed by our fellows and host 2 meetups per month on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month. It is a place to hang out, connect with friends or meet new ones. Created to be a space where your interests, rather than your sexuality, define you, it is the affinity tracts that hold the power. Once per month The Hub is common ground and a chance to meet fellows from other tracts. The other meetup is open to all fellows, but hosted by just one of the affinity tracts where they are encouraged to design programming specific to the activities, themes and decor that speaks to their interests.
While the primary function is as a place to connect with peers, we will have credentialed councilors present and available if fellows want someone confidential to talk to.
CONNECTION LAB
Connection Lab is about creating unique opportunities for our fellows to meet and connect with people they admire and learn from their experiences. Meeting your heroes is a powerful thing, but getting to engage with them is a game changer. Labs can be a variety of things, but imagine getting to sit down with the Mayor and get to ask them direct questions, being invited back stage to meet the cast of your favorite broadway show, or getting to walk onto the field of PacBell park and getting to throw a pitch.
These are the experiences that help us imagine who we want to be, who we could be, and how important we are to the world around us. Connection Labs are designed to show our fellows that there is depth to our community, that it isn't limited to bars and apps, and in fact they are part of something powerful and full of opportunities that they can choose from.
10 Connection Labs per year will be hosted by True North. While 2 per year will be aimed towards each affinity tract, all fellows are invited to attend.
